Scott was most recently an Executive Vice President and Regional Managing Director with PNC Wealth Management in Pittsburgh. With over eleven years in that role, and a total of 24 years with PNC, Scott’s professional experience includes trust & estate administration, investment management, and oversight of the wealth planning and private banking functions. His client service responsibilities included working with high net-worth families and individuals in the growth and maintenance of their wealth, and in developing and implementing wealth preservation and transfer strategies. He was responsible for business development activities as well as overseeing policy, audits and regulatory relations with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

His other professional experience includes work as a tax consultant with Price Waterhouse and as an attorney with the Pittsburgh based law firm of Thomson Rhodes & Cowie PC. Scott completed four years of active duty with the U.S. Air Force and retired with the rank of Colonel from U.S. Air Force Reserve after a combined total of 23 years of service.

His academic education includes a BS in Economics from Penn State University, a MS in Public Management & Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Scott and his wife, Sally (a lawyer specializing in government contracts and commercial transactions) reside in Wheeling. They are the parents of two adult children.

Michael J. Coombe, CTFA, is President of Security National Trust Company. Mike has over 25 years of wealth management/financial services experience. Prior to joining Security National Trust in 2012, Mike worked for 19 years at Wells Fargo Bank most recently as the Trust Team Manager at the Investment & Fiduciary Services Center in Lancaster, PA. He is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School and is a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor. Mike graduated Summa Cum Laude from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration majoring in finance. Mike is a member of the Lancaster County Estate Planning Council and Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. He is a 20+ year committee chair of the Central Berks American Cancer Society and serves on the grant review committee for the Lancaster Community Foundation.

Melony S. Fitzwater Executive Vice President & Huntington Market Leader for Security National Trust Company. She also serves as the Huntington Office Manager. Melony has more than 28 years of experience in trust, investments and estate planning having previously served as a Trust officer for JP Morgan in Huntington. She began her career with The First Huntington National Bank, a predecessor to JP Morgan, in 1992. Melony attended Marshall University, Trust Schools at Cannon Financial Institute, Midwest Trust School and JPMorgan Trust School. Melony is the immediate past President and current Member of the Greater Huntington Estate Planning Council, former Treasurer of the Board of Dress for Success of the River Cities and Current Board Member for Faith in Action of the River Cities. Melony resides in Culloden, WV.

William L. Paras is Executive VP/CIO/Wheeling Market Leader of Security National Trust Company. Mr. Paras has more than 20 years of investment management experience in developing and communicating tailored investment strategies for clients. Prior to joining Security National Trust in 2004, Mr. Paras served as Vice President and Trust Investment Officer at United Bank in Wheeling, WV. Bill also held investment positions at Rockland Trust Company in Rockland, Massachusetts and at Wesbanco Bank in Wheeling. A graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, Bill also holds an MBA from Boston University.

Thomas A. Ruehling is Senior Vice President – Retirement Services for Security National Trust Company. Prior to joining Security in 2013, Tom served in various retirement services capacities with Branch Banking and Trust Company in Winston Salem, North Carolina, most recently serving as Vice President/State Trust Department Manager. Mr. Ruehling is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has over 30 years of experience in the retirement services area. He is a Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) and a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) and is on the Estate Planning Council of the Upper Ohio Valley.

Elisabeth A. Slater, JD, CTFA, is Executive Vice President and Wheeling Market Fiduciary Director for Security National Trust Company. Libby joined Security after practicing law for many years, focusing on employment law and advising individuals and banks on conservatorship/guardianship proceedings and litigation related to trust and estate administration. She is a graduate of Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, The American University and Duquesne University School of Law. Upon graduation, she was a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur M. Recht, Judge, First Judicial Circuit of West Virginia. She is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, Ohio Supreme Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Libby has served on numerous local boards, including Northern Panhandle Head Start, CASA and the Ohio Valley Medical Center Auxiliary. She currently serves as a member of the Wheeling-Ohio County Board of Health, Ohio County Building Commission, Ohio Valley Wellness Coalition, Junior League of Wheeling (Sustainer) and the Viennese Winter Ball Committee. Heather R. Johnson is the Associate Vice President/Investment Officer for Security National Trust Company. In that role, she performs asset collection, asset valuation, and implements corporate actions. She also works directly with the Chief Investment Officer in managing portfolios by developing trade programs, providing portfolio analysis, and preparing client presentations.

Prior to joining Security National in 2020, Heather had 8 years of financial services industry experience with UBS Financial Services at its branch office in Pittsburgh. During her tenure with UBS, she worked as a Client Service Associate and mostly recently was the Branch Office Administrator.

Her academic education includes a B. S. degree in Business Administration, Finance from West Virginia University, and she earned the MBA degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia.

Eva M. Ellis is an Office Administrative Manager for Security National Trust Company. Eva has more than 24 years of experience in both trust and investments. Prior to joining she worked for JP Morgan in capacities including Trust Administrator, Operations specialist, and Investment assistant where she held Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses. Eva has a computer Science background through Huntington Junior College of Business and has attended the Cannon and Midwest Trust Schools and Marshall University.

Nicholas C. Scholle, JD is a Trust Officer for Security National Trust Company. He is a two-time graduate of Duquesne University, once in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science, and again in 2022 from Duquesne University School of Law. His law school coursework and previous experience focused on public service, community engagement, and estate planning. This includes his roles with the U.S. Dept. of the Interior, the Urban Development Practicum, and as President of Election Law Society. Currently, he is an active member of the Wheeling Estate Planning Council. Nick is a native of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, where he resides and coaches football at his alma mater South Park High School.

Collin M. Gaus, JD is a Trust Officer for the Wheeling office. Prior to joining the company, Collin worked as a civil defense litigation attorney in St. Louis, Missouri, focusing primarily on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Collin grew up in the Elm Grove neighborhood of Wheeling and is a 2012 graduate of The Linsly School. He attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Government/Law and Philosophy, and the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he graduated with his JD in 2019.

Jodi L. Hollinger is Vice President and Trust Officer for Security National Trust Company. Jodi has 27 years of commercial credit and financial service experience.

Before joining Security in 2023, she represented clients as a certified real estate closing agent.  Prior to that, Jodi served as a State Farm Insurance agent, achieving her Life and Health insurance licenses.

Jodi's career has been focused on helping clients meet their financial needs. She is a life-long resident of Lancaster, PA. She earned her BA in Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College. She served as Board Member & President of the Strasburg-Heisler Library for six years and currently volunteers at Pequea Church in Junior and Senior High Youth Ministry.

Melissa M. Barr, JD is Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Security National Trust Company. Prior to joining Security in January 2024, Melissa was with Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, where she was a Shareholder with the firm since 2005. She conducted a varied civil law practice while based in their Wheeling office. With over 20 years of experience, she also served as in-house counsel for State Farm, was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Jackson County, and was a Law clerk for the Fifth Judicial Circuit serving Jackson, Roane and Calhoun Counties. Her professional accomplishments include being named to The Best Lawyers in America® (since 2013) and was named to West Virginia Super Lawyers® (2013–2016). Her academic education includes a B.A. degree in International Relations and German from West Virginia University and a J.D. degree from the West Virginia University College of Law.

April Saunders is Vice President & Trust Officer in the Huntington, West Virginia Office.

April joined Security National bringing more than 15 years of wealth management experience.  She previously served as Personal Client Banker, Manager and Registered Representative in WV and OH.

April graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and minors in Accounting, Economics and Management. She is a current Member of the Greater Huntington Estate Planning Council, past President of the Woman’s Club of Huntington Junior Department and Alpha Kappa Psi (Zeta Rho Chapter) Business Fraternity, former Board member of Dress for Success of the River Cities, officer of the Financial Management Association and served as a leader and member in many local nonprofit organizations.
